Terms of Sale

Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Direct Debit or money orders are accepted. A 50% deposit is required on all custom orders, and is non-refundable once work has commenced. Please phone us with your Visa/Mastercard number in order that work may commence.

Have your measurements ready when you call.

Delivery charges will be fully paid by the customer... including any incurred COD charges.

All packages will be shipped via Canada Post, the customer’s choice of courier or Greyhound bus.

Notify James Built Saddlery within five (5) days of receiving the product if there are any problems or damage caused by shipping.

Returned Goods: The acceptance of any items being returned to James Built Saddlery will be done so at our discretion. If James Built Saddlery authorizes a return, the return must be mailed (and insured) within five (5) business days of receipt of the goods and must be accompanied with a letter stating reason for return. A 50% restocking charge will be deducted from any funds to be credited.

Allow 4 weeks from placement of your custom order, to arrival of the finished product.

Prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars.


If you are not happy with your purchase
from James Built Saddlery we will be more than happy to replace it with an item of another color or another product of equal or greater value.
We would, however, appreciate a letter accompanying the item being exchanged with your reasons for exchange.
Please double check your measurements before placing your orders, as we cannot be responsible if we are given the wrong measurements. 

All prices listed are in Canadian dollars, with the approximate US dollars listed somewhere near.  However, US Exchange rates change on a daily basis, so for up to the minute currency exchange, please click on this link to be taken to XE.com, a very valuable currency exchange resource.
